Salvation Army Fiesta

So last Friday I had to get my oil changed. Pesky oil change REQUIRED signal was going off every time I drove. Lucky for me I had a coupon and the Salvation Army is located a block away. So here is my loot from the day :) good thing the Fiesta was 50% off other wise it was quite over priced. 

Back to reality.

My son and I were lucky enough to go to Alaska for 16 days. :) it's so beautiful and clean and fresh there. Well minus the 95,000 acre fire in my dads back yard. I had little to no reception there. So didn't get to post often but took some beautiful photos and visited my much missed family. And a few friends. 

Busy

Why is the end of every school year so busy? I decided to add to it. By moving lol the new place allows me to have my own washer and dryer :)  just under 7 years I have been shared laundry room and laundry matting it. So I am grateful! 

Purge

I have not felt creative lately, I haven't been sleeping well or being very productive for that matter. 2013 has brought a lot of change in my life. New SUV, married, and now moving! I am giving up some to gain some. I have been paying 2.25 a load at my apartment laundry room or washing at the laundry mat for going 7 years! Since we left Las Vegas. So I am giving up kitchen space for, washer dryer hook ups. Besides the fact apartment is close to the beach, all our neighbors are 20 something parts kids! I am over rude 2am drunk neighbors. A lot of thinking and looking went into this. Since we were having no luck looking to buy the past 2 years. I decided to rake a break and rent a better place. Uggggg forcing myself to downsize and purge. 

Sunday

So bc E has been having such bad allergies. I cleaned the heck outta the rooms. I just finished vacuuming the mattresses, how dull. Hopefully it helps. I also finished a really pretty door project. Was trying to make it red, white and blue for Memorial Day. :) kinda looks more pink. Also here is the blocked blanket finished for Evans super awesome preschool teacher.

Bathroom

So I finished a baby blanket and was blocking it in the shower. Then I scored this beautiful dress from the thrift store and washed and hung it in my shower. And the two items are so pretty together I don't wanna. Take them down.

May door

E teacher didn't want me to take down the koalas so I just added to them. The kids did great!
